Perhaps, it was during that moment when all our top management gathered in the conference room, refreshed from the extended holiday break. What began as casual conversations about our year-end party traditions, funny moments, and the laughter shared over the years transitioned naturally into reflections as we discussed the roadmaps for 2025, realizing how much our company have grown and developed.
This year, 2025, marks our 18th year as pioneers in centralizing nurse licensing exam application for international nurses and other medical professionals. For those who may be encountering us for the first time, yes, we are the revolutionary foundation in the field of facilitating medical professionals getting licensed internationally. Over 18 years, NEAC has streamlined the cumbersome process of nurse examination applications, helping medical professionals across the United States, the Middle East, and other regions to achieve international licensure. To date, we have supported over 75,000 medical professionals from around the world in advancing their careers globally. For over 18 years, our footsteps have always lead the way.
While others who followed in our path may have been contributing to the same cause, NEAC was, without a doubt, the first to address the challenges faced by nurses and other medical professionals.
The company’s journey has been remarkable. From a humble beginning in 2002 as a one man operation as a California based Recruitment agency CAREX, transitioned to a first international licensing assistance center in the world in 2007 and has grown to a robust multi-awarded organization with over 80 personnel. Today, we boast 10 international partnerships, as a trusted agency by Boards of Nursing and Credential Evaluation Institutes across all 50 U.S. states, as well as in countries within the MENA and Commonwealth regions. Additionally, we have been recognized by the Philippine government with an Excellence Award as the revolutionary in the field. This growth is a testament to our commitment and resilience.
Under the visionary leadership of our Founder and CEO, Dr. Elbe Akman, NEAC has consistently set industry benchmarks. The foundation of NEAC is built on compassion—the compassion of a leader who led him to write his Doctoral Dissertation on the clientele needs of Nurses applying NCLEX-RN, understood the struggles faced by nurses and took decisive steps to alleviate them. Dr. Akman not only created an organization but also cultivated a culture of care, revolutionary leadership, dedication, and service to humanity.

No one was left out. Whether it's ordinary day or a holiday, under presssure or enjoyment, we are a team! That's why we are always leading the way.
As Dr. Akman aptly describes, “NEAC is like a rowboat that moves forward with the collective efforts of its crew under the captain’s direction. Managers serve as the drummers that keeps the heartbeat in unison, maintaining rhythm and harmony. Each member must align with the team’s pace—no one can row faster or slower than the rest. If this balance is disrupted, the boat risks losing its course or sinking.”
