Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland Exam Application

The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or (NMBI) is the independent, statutory organization which regulates the nursing and midwifery professions in Ireland.

One of the core functions of the Nursing and Midwifery of Ireland is to maintain a register, known as the “ Register of Nurses and Midwives” or the Register, for short. There is no National Examination offered for NMBI which means the candidate can directly apply for a license.

 To practice as a nurse or midwife in the Republic of Ireland, registrants must:

  • Active Register
  • Pay the Annual Retention Fee

  • Hi, I am Paul Jared De Jesus applying for a nurse or health care assistant in Ireland. I just pssed my OET this January 2021 with scores of B in listening, reading and writing and C+ in speaking. I have a total of 3 yrs hosp experience from 2008-2011. 3 yrs clinical trainer in a caregiving institution and currently working as Appeals nurse/case coordinator in United health care. I already created an account in nmbi but I havent continued it si ce they are asking for a recent hosp experience.
