Looking at the current situation, one may get depressed watching the gruesome news stories.

Yes, we are going through difficult times. We want to extend our special thanks and gratitude to those medical professionals who are fighting on the frontlines against COVID-19, for they are the modern heroes. With your selfless efforts, world government's support, and, of course, with God's help, this problem will be over soon, just like all other epidemics, pandemics, and calamities we have left behind.

At this stage, some medical professionals may have concerns about how this current situation will affect their dream to work overseas and earn a higher income. History and the current statistics support the fact that the need for medical professionals is only increasing. The COVID-19 crisis proved that countries need more medical professionals to be ready for such outbreaks. Most countries admit that they are understaffed and they need to hire more international medical professionals.

Both Middle Eastern countries, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the US have a chronic medical professional shortage. The US is projected to experience a shortage of Registered Nurses or RNs that is expected to intensify as baby boomers age and the need for health care grows. The RN workforce is expected to grow from 2.9 million in 2016 to 3.4 million in 2026, increasing 438,100 or 15% based on the AACN Fact Sheet - Nursing Shortage article.

The current crisis showed that by not taking solid steps to hire needed medical professionals only causes more loss of lives. We believe this crisis got the attention of related government departments and they will act swiftly to open the gates to hire more medical professionals in the coming years.
